Interview
Once your application is reviewed and shortlisted, you’ll be invited to a one-on-one interview. This is where we get to know you beyond the paperwork — your goals, mindset, experience, and willingness to grow. We’re not looking for perfection; we’re looking for grit, humility, and a commitment to the process. This conversation helps us ensure Dog Tribe Academy is the right fit for your journey — and that you’re ready to earn your place in it.

Online Curriculum & Community Access
Once accepted, you'll receive exclusive access to the Dog Tribe online learning platform and private community. This is where your journey officially begins. The online curriculum lays the foundation — covering theory, terminology, training systems, and safety protocols — and must be completed and passed before stepping into the physical academy. This ensures every student shows up prepared, aligned, and ready to train at the highest level, side-by-side with the Tribe.

Attend the Academy
The final stage is a 60-day immersive experience at our Chicago campus. You’ll shadow and assist across a variety of real-world training programs — from pet obedience and behavior cases to working dogs and leadership roles within our facility. Throughout the program, you’ll be guided by a dedicated coach, receive feedback, and be expected to contribute as part of the team. This phase is hands-on and high-accountability. Attendance alone doesn’t guarantee certification — you’ll need to show growth, initiative, and competence. You’re here to earn it.
