Age Requirement

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Application & Interview

• Submit a completed application along with a resume and cover letter.

• Participate in an interview process if selected after initial review.
   

Background Check​

• No violent crimes or animal abuse charges are permitted.
   

Must pass a criminal background check.
 

Experience or Education (Preferred but not required)

• At least 3 years of kennel or dog handling experience, OR

• A 4-year degree in a related field (animal science, psychology, etc.)
   

Online Curriculum Completion

• Must complete and pass the online curriculum prior to attending in person.
   

On-Campus Commitment

• Attend a 60-day immersive in-person training.

• Includes shadowing trainers, working within programs (obedience, behavior, sport), and receiving mentorship from a coach.

• Program is pass/fail — attendance does not guarantee certification.
   

Housing

• On-campus housing is available at an additional cost for accepted students.
